Glycogen is the bodies method of storing sugar. It is a long, branched polysaccharide, similar to starch
Glucagon is an enzyme that maintains the level of glucose in teh blood. Where insulin wil cause glucose to enter the blood stream from storage, glucagon does the reverse, and moves it out of circulation. Insulin and glucagon are a form of homeostasis, each enzyme doing the opposite fuction to maintain a balance

its a hormone secreted by the pancreas...
pancreas secretes 2 hormones, insulin & glucagon.
