No contest....Brian Westbrook is the multi-year, proven producer.

Brian Westbrook by far. He has more experience, and he is really stepping it up this season. Even though Reggie Bush is my guy, I think BW is better. Hes a leader, and he can do just about anything his team needs to win. Reggie Bush on the other hand, is very flexible as well, he can return punts, he can catch, he can run, he can block, and he has even thrown it. Theyre both great players, and I think Reggie Bush has the potential to be better than Westbrook, but right now, it's no contest.

Right now Westbrook. I'd say Westbrook is #4 in all of the NFL behind LT, LJ, and Steven Jackson, and right ahead of Alexander. Bush is an exciting talent, but is 2 years away from having the backfield to himself and from being in the top 5. I'd put Bush as maybe #10 as far as backs go. Other than the 5 I mentioned, I'd put him behind Rudi, Frank Gore and Portis when he is healthy. He is also behind Tiki but Tiki says he is gone so that moves Bush up the ladder.

Bush as of this moment is about on par with McCallister, Willie Parker, Chester Taylor and Ronnie Brown, but ahead of Kevin Jones, Thomas Jones, Edgerrin James, Jamal Lewis and Joe Addai. Westbrook blows all those guys away. I dont know that Bush does.

The real question is is Bush better than the other Rookie backs, Addai, MoJo Drew, D. Williams and Maroney. Other that Williams, who was hurt, those other guys had better seasons than bush, and all of them shared the backfield just like Bush did. Addai shard with Rhodes, MoJo with Fred Taylor, Williams with D. Foster and Maroney with Dillon. You may even call Marion Barber a "rookie" and he shared with Julius Jones and has a good year too.

Bush is a great weapon, and will likely be the most valuable of this list down the line. Lets just hope he ends up better than the last guy with this kind of hype, Willis McGahee. Westbrook did his time, was at times behind Staley and Buckhalter in the depth chart, but has had 2 great years now and is gonna have a big 08.

Brian Westbrook is an under the radar kind of guy. He's not known as a premier back but that's exactly what he is. Bush came out of the draft and everyone knew his name, i personally never knew brian westbrook until a couple of years ago when i began playing fantasy football, the numbers don't lie, he's a great running back but he doesn't get the recognition he deserves, but quite frankly i don't think he cares.

As of now, there's not thinking, it's BW (and I'm a big Bush fan --- *insert joke here*). He's really become a good RunningB this year (not just a guy who ran decent, but was only ranked high because his very good pass-catching skills made him a semi-dual threat) and Reggie Bush untill the very end of the season was not running that good at all. I guess under-sized guys (atleast BW is ~200 but short, Reggie's light and tall --no leverage) need to find their niche before they break out. I expect big #s (run/pass/ or both) from them next year.

well considering Westbrook has been playing for about 4 years now. I would take Bush. He is a rookie and already looks to be a top 10 back for next year. If it weren't for Deuce getting all the goal line totes, he would be a stud. Westbrook is good but I just think Bush has that L.T. inate playing ability that you don't see in other backs like chester taylor, ronnie brown and others like that.

Until Westbrook can complete an entire season, it's Bush.
