...in my best kitchen drawer. I charge the 5p a week rent, and they can`t/ won`t pay, I`m insisting they move to a drawer of a lower standard. They are making a right old fuss. What should I do?

Hello Fried,
I think you should move them to the lower draw until they can cope with the payments in the more expensive draw. They may not like it now but later on they will thank you for giving them a way out of their poverty. I also think that you should furnish the draw for them. This on your part could be a secret act of charity and may give them the opportunity to save their money for their own draw in the future. And also give them some self respect. Of course they may spend the money on over expensive holidays rather than going camping. But you can say that you did your best for them. Perhaps stick some leaflets through the top of the draw advertising the healthy benefits of camping holidays. By the way please don't give them the draw with the magnets in.

I run a hostel right in front of my PC. It looks like a large petrie dish and there are lots of nationalities of paper clips in at the moment and they all get on very well. Rent is only 1p a week per family of ten. Send them over!

stick a magnet in the drawer catch all non paying clips and straighten them out once and for all

Join them all together and dangle them out of the window. Show them what you did to the staples... they used to all roam free and individual too, until they stopped paying rent, and look at their close confines

You have to act fast.
Hard as it may seem, if you don't take action RIGHT NOW, they'll start breeding and then you're in big trouble. Evict them before they tell their cousins the wire coat-hangers about your wardrobes.

take them to paperclip small claims court get it resolved there u may need a good lawyer i believe paperclip have rights and u may not beable to take away there strandard of living

try talking to them person to paperclip with a magnet as back up!
