how do i appy for bankrupsy?

what actions do i take and where do i go?
I have never done this before.. any good advise???

Yes . Do everything you can do not to file bankruptcy. Call your creditors and try to work out a program with them. A bankruptcy will haunt you for ten years. You will be lucky to get a gumball on credit , or an apt or anything else.
