This question and some answerers seem to hold the opinion that the Indian government sanction such act. Well, It's not!
Burning people is illegal and the people who committed such crime would be charged with murder.

The incident(s) happened in some communities where uneducated parents believe burning their (suspect) adulterous daughter is the only way to restore family honour. It's wrong and it's being punished by the Indian Law and people do protest against this kind of cruelty in India.

That is the very problem that other countries have with us. You are free to protest, and yet they are not. Stop giving advice to people who could be killed for standing against what they believe is wrong. Those people have different rules and they have to live by them or face death. It's not right that anyone is ever burned alive. However, this is how their country is and it's not for us to tell them different. Be thankful they are not trying to change your country. Thank you and GOD bless.

Of course there should be. I don't know what a person, let alone a young teenager, could possibly do to merit being burned alive. There are more humane ways of carrying out the death penalty, which should only be used in extreme cases and only with adults. I think there should be world wide laws for things of that nature.
