The person who turned the Knights of the Klu Klux Klan from a political machine into a terrorist hate group. And I'd ask him why? I understand his fear of having the ***** race become as powerful or even more powerful than the anglo race but this kind of fear for human equality is baffling. And I'd ask him why the KKK uses the burning cross as a symbol of hate when it's really a symbol of love and great sacrifice and why they demand Jewish people be hated where as Jesus was indeed Jewish and Jesus is described in the Bible as having skin of bronze and hair of wool.

Probably Abraham Lincoln because of all the complex issues and conflict that was going on during his presidency.
I'd select three or four of the major issues that he was faced with and ask about - really - what he went through and what reasoning he used in order to come to certain decisions/actions.
