Bored with life? Volunteer at a homeless shelter. Or the children's cancer ward. It will give you a new appreciation for what you have!

Depends what type of thing you enjoy doing - I know you want to try something new but if you are scared of heights you won't want to try skydiving will you?! Are you looking for something inside or outside? Are you male or female? There is always needlework, knitting etc. How about photography? Archery, skydiving, swimming, tennis, squash, making jewellery, learn to play a musical instrument, learn a foreign language, cake decorating, an evening class, the list really is endless. Take up a sport, gym etc. Good luck - hope you find something fulfilling.

I can think of millions: Have a collection, horse riding, martial art, any sport, join a club, draw, make an invention, write, sing, dance, play a music instrument, go volunteer for a cause you believe in, go fising, make a video about yourself or just anything, photography, rearrange your room(my favorite), exercise, plant, pick fruits, do yoga or pilates, play dress up(i know it sounds childish but my girlfriends and i do it in the mall all the time and we love it!!!) karaoke every weekend(also one of my fave), and the best is the Internet with its unlimited sorts of stuffs. Surf and reach your destination. Dont worry, you'll find something you'll like.

I know reading is passive, but you should do it all your life. It's better than watching movies, you are taken to another, place, time, someone else's mind, and it's all legal.

And there is so much to choose from.

How about tropical or marine fish but perhaps the more unusual types of fish.

My hobby is plecostomus catfish!

Or what about getting into a martial art? I started Karate at the age of 32.

Polymer clay, sculpting. and/ or as someone else mentioned, spend some time helping at a homeless shelter, animal shelter or soup kitchen. Rather than sitting around bored, get up and do something to help others. You will quickly be unbored and maybe even find a little quality to life...

buy a lathe. Make wooden bowls, lamps, pepper mills, pens

Go on, this weekend, what are you waiting for ?

You get to be all manly handling a powerful machine, you get time to yourself "down the garden", and the wifey appreciates ( sometimes ! ) the products you bring in.

and if you get any good, you get to sell it.

( although the sawdust in the trouser turnups are a bit of a discussion point )
