This sounds strange, but I'm wondering if it happens to others as well, and if it's normal. I always know right before I am about to get my menstrual period because it almost feels like a little air or air bubbles are escaping from my uterus/vagina/"that area". Sorry for the weird question, but does this happen to anyone else? Is it normal? I may be pregnant but my period is about a week away, and this has been going on for a few days. It normally happens for about one day before I start my period.

Thanks!

It happened to me. There is a medical explanation for it and I have forgotten what it is. But my doctor said it was perfectly normal. Within a few years, I had other problems and had to have a hysterectomy, so I do not know if this problem continues throughout your lifetime.

The air bubbles that you are experiencing may be the opening of the fallopian tube releasing the egg-you may be more in tune to your body than most and can actually realize what is happening. If you have had this for quite some time I am sure there is nothing wrong-especially if you are getting your exams regularly, but next time in I would ask your doctor just to make sure.

The "air" you are feeling is quite normal. See the explanation for this is that if you had sex or even some people masturbate-when they do this air gets pushed up into their cervix-and then we you stand quickly or are getting ready for your period your body pushes this extra air out of your vagina. It is quite normal, no worries.

it's gas probally, but on a side note if you wanted to loose extra weight and clean yourself properly having a colon clean OC product during you peroid will help the pooch go away and any cramps as well, i know the colon is not something you'd think have anything to do with mentral, but cleaning you body expecally while on the peroid will remove toxins and improve you health no more air leaving

Yes, it happens to me too. In fact I get them even more while I have my period. I actually enjoy them. They tickle my clitoris and I get all giddy.
