Because women do not forgive and forget.

I've worked with all women and I've worked with all men. I felt the men were just as bad in a different way. With men I found a lot of "I'm so much better than you are" macho chest pounding. With women I find a lot of little snide remarks disguised as normal conversation.

One isn't better than the other. Both suck and I avoid both. If someone starts talking about someone behind their back I never join in. I just kind of smile and say nothing except "Oh". I usually don't get the hot gossip, but nor do I want it. I don't like hearing bad things about others and if you make that clear you will probably not be bothered with all the crap that goes on in the work place. You'll just be seen as a neutral. Which is fine, do you job, mind your business; is how I live.

Women are PIAs. They are too petty, back biting and like way too much drama. Men, as a rule, don't get into all of that stuff. I am in a field that is predominently female and even back in the day, when I was much younger, I knew that entering a predominently female profession would be a pain due to the aboveforementioned reasons. But, I did, and yes, it has been nothing but drama, back biting and pettiness. Over the years, I have worked in many many positions and have dealt with the BS

Ive worked at banks and gift stores where there were only women and there was lots of gossip. I now work as a dispatcher for police and fire so I work with almost all men and they are just as bad.. And they admit it. It is the same for men and women in MY experience. The only thing that is different is women tend to let things bother them more when someone says something negative about them.

Women are naturally wired to nurture their own children. In the workplace this mindset causes them to want to get involved in the personal lives of whoever they're around. They don't realize they are subconciously trying to raise and protect other women (and the men too) and the problems flare up when other adults correctly remind themselves they can take care of themselves.

Bikini motor vehicle washes are the same aspect. once you're competing with different motor vehicle washes you should have something the different ones don't have, cleavage. that is undemanding capitalism, take it or go away it. that is an all volunteer artwork pressure. no individual is coerced into taking the job.

Because unlike when men work together, women decide to ignore the 'chain of command'.. ie, the Alpha Female. Men work together, an Alpha Male is agreed upon and listened to. All women feel they are superior to their counterparts, and therefore turmoil ensues.

Competition. I notice that at radio stations where I've worked before--there are simply fewer opportunities for women, so we have to fight each other for the top spots. American culture pretty much breeds this sort of extra competition among women because of the lack of equal opportunities in comparison to men. I find it works better for me to improve my skills rather than improve my cattiness--that's the only way ANYONE can get to the top.
I also don't get along with other women nearly as well as I do men.

I'm not saying I agree with your statement totally, but from what I have observed, most problems would be due to the fact that women are just not as assertive as men. They're more repressed when it comes to saying things like "would you knock that off?"

Whereas men will just spit that out without thinking twice.

DISCLAIMER: This is just my opinion; I know that this is merely a stereotype, and that there are plenty of assertive women and wimpy men who can't say boo.
