Let x be the number of times 3 must be added to itself to equal 1134. So, 3+3+3+3+3+...+3 (x number of threes) = 3x. So
3x = 1134
x = 378

Obviously 3. Also 6, 9, 18, 21, 27, 42, 54, 63, 81, 126, 162, 189, 378, 567, and finally 1134.
So, the answer is: 16 multiples of 3 can be added together to give 1134.
The prime factors of 1134 are: 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 2 * 7. As you can see, when you multiply one of the threes by any other of these numbers, you come up with the list above.

I dont kno if u worded this weird on purpose or not, but if the answer ur looking for isnt 378, then i think it could be a bit more.
1134 divided by 3 is 378. duh.
but u ask for how many MULTIPLES of 3, when they are added together equals 1134. 6, for example is a multiple of 3 that when added together 189 times will equal 1134.
then 9, 126 times
then 18, 63 times.
21, 54 times
27, 42 times
42, 27 times
54, 21 times
63, 18 times
126, 9 times
189, 6 times
and finally 378, 3 times.

Just from what I am figuring...864 multiples of 3 with give you the result of 1134. Starting with 135+999=1134, 136+998=1134, 137+997=1134...etc...(pattern) all the way up to 999+135=1134...there are a total of 864 multiples that will add up to 1134.

One.
Namely, 1134. I have a wee hunch that this may not be a unique solution, however.
