It's not free, but it's a onetime fee of $30.00. I have been using it and LOVE it as does my boss - got him a subscription for his birthday. it's MP3Rocket.com

As I see, you've got good answers.
1. EMULE (www.emule-project.net). It's a good program, cause it finds almost everything :) But you have to be a little experienced in software to use it, so read help or:
2. LIMEWIRE (www.limewire.com) - now this program is quite simple to use! Just install and open it. You have the search field to write your 'keywords' in (a song, an artist).
But Internet is so wild, that maybe someone else will have a better solution. I'll come back to check - always good to have a better way :))
