I am almost 13 weeks and I have been having some really weird dreams. I had one the other night in which I was having an ultrasound, they said it was a girl, then my mother-in-law wanted to see it so they did it again and it was a boy, but she said, "something doesnt look right, this is a down syndrome baby". Although it looked more like a rat than a down syndrome baby, it had jet black hair, piercing green eyes and teeth (yes teeth!) that all overlapped each other. It was horrible! I think some of it was attributed to my intense fear that something will be wrong with the baby! Anyone else have some good ones?!

Those are completely normal. I remember when I was pregnant and I had this dream about having my baby. It is totally not how you have a baby. I dreamt that someone sat on my stomach to get her out. Also in the same dream I had a daughter ( which I do) but she had a head full of hair and looked just like me and then she was kicking her legs and she almost kicked herself in the head. I then looked at my husband and said see I told you she was a kicker!! Talk about weird. She is bald and looks just like her daddy!

I think it is very common to have very vivid dreams. I remember having a terrifing dreams very simular to yours. Some where fantastic though and a few were lucid (that means you are aware that your dreaming and then you are controling it). So don't worry your baby is probably just fine and you are just a little worried and your dream is a manifestation of that worry. I dreamed that I had a kitten. I had lots of water related dreams like swimming in a vast clear lake. I even dreamed once that I was in a giant bouncy house bouncing all around. So yes I think its normal and may be hormonal, so look forward to those really cool dreams you will have!
Have a beautiful baby! Enjoy every minute of it!

Your not the only one that has weird dreams while pregnant. Those darn hormones get ya every time. My mom died when I was 19 and at age 20 I have my first child. When I was pregnant with my son and now with my daughter I have dreams about her all the time that she's alive and apart of my children's lives. And then some days I have off the wall dreams that somebody is chasing me and trying to kill me. I guess it's just a normal thing to have the weird dreams during pregnancy.

Yes, that is completely normal. Even before I found out I was pregnant I had a dream about my dead grandmother talking to me about my baby. She said the baby was going to be a girl. Now I am still convinced I am having a baby girl. :) I have at least 3 different dreams a night and wake up several time in the process. I thought my dreams were crazy before I was preg. lol!

The night before my ultrasound, I had a dream in which I had numerous ultrasounds, but none of them would tell me what I was having, except for one, which told me a girl. I woke up the next morning a little confused. I had my ultrasound later that day and found out I'm having a girl. I've also had dreams of finding out that I'm not pregnant, even though I'm 32 weeks.

I had one that I was working when I went into labor, I went to a nearby lake where I gave birth. My baby was born with what looked like flippers but my dr. said don't worry they will grow feathers and will become wings after a few years! I was also worried about my baby being born unhealthy, but we are very blessed with a healthy baby boy! My cousin had a dream that the arm reached out of her stomach just to hold her hand while the baby slept. lol Pregnancy creates some wierd dreams!

I think this is a common thing with first pregnancies. I had some pretty freaky dreams during and after my first. One dream I had after the baby was home, I dreamed that I laid the baby down in bed with me to take a nap and the baby rolled over, had razor sharp teeth and bit my nipple off. (I'm still afraid to breast feed from that one!) But I am now on my 3rd pregnancy and now my dreams are about my inner worries (like money).

It is absolutely normal. I just dreamed about already having the baby and having dinner with Raymond from Everybody Loves Raymond and his family. Even Marie was there. Raymond was trying to sing a song but everyone laughed so he switched to a different song.
I've always had pretty vivid dreams but it seems like it has gone out of control since I'm pregnant.

I am 24 weeks and I have been having very bizarre dreams for some time now.....Not so much about the baby though. I had a dream about midgets breaking into my house, that my dogs turned into cartoons, just weird stuff....but I read that it is because pregnancy is such an overwhelming time in your life that it can even cause frequent dreams or nightmares....crazy isn't it?

With my first daughter I kept having a dream over and over again. I dreamed that she was laying on a blanket on her tummy. I could see some brown hair and that was all. So I would go to walk around to see her little face and I would wake up. Made me sooo mad. I just figured it was because I wanted to see what she looked like so bad. BTW... I have a feeling your baby isn't a rat!! lol
