I reinstalled XP on HP Pavillion dv6000 Laptop and have no sound. I don't know even my sound card manufacturer's name to download a sound card driver from the internet.
What can i do to resolve this problem.

check to see if the sound is muted either in the program you are using or on the computer, if that doesnt work call customer suppport I find them very helpful when i have problems with my laptop I also have an Hp
