Is it necessary to repeat these words often or is less better and you actually mean it?

I'd tell him almost everyday if it wouldn't smother him. I just assume it would by him not telling me each day or at least once a week. that he loves me. He's one of those prideful men who say" well you know I do, I shouldn't have to always say it should I?" I say," MEN tell your woman periododiacally that you love her because if you love her and being a woman I love to hear him tell me especially when ya'll make love. She'll be on cloud nine for several days.(BUT mean it)

My husband and I say it very often. Everyday, mulitple times a day and we are very affectionate (in a non-sexual way publicly). We began our relationship in that way and I hope that we stay in that state. It helps us to keep things flowing.
We mean it.
Some couples are different, they don't like to hear it very often. In our previous relationships there was not alot of "affection" so for US I think that this works out very well.

We both say it to each other a couple of times a day; and we both really mean it. Then again our relationship is only 4 months old! So we are still very much in the honey moon stage!

I say it all the time to my boyfriend. And I always mean it. He says it to me a lot too, and I know that he means it. I think that you should not say it back to your partner if you don't really mean. I know that at one point in time when I wasn't sure if I still loved him, I wouldn't say it to him until I was sure that I did. It's best not to lie about something like that if you want your relationship to work out.

Is there a certain number of times per day or hour we have to do that? I think you only need to say it once. You need to show it constantly. If and When you don't feel real and true love for someone, it's a lie if you say you do.

Well, it's good to let your partner what you feel, but if you say it too many times it kinda loses the whole point of it. I say it too many times, and sometimes I get tired of saying it... and I working on changing that.

As often as I can!
When I leave for work or store or anywhere I tell her.
When we go to sleep I tell her.
In front of the kids I make sure to tell her often.
When we are done with a phone conversation I tell her.
I mean it every time! ! ! !

its nice to hear i love you at least a couple times a day just to make you feel good, but if you don't mean it then don't say it! it can be just as hurtful as good if its not coming from the heart.
