She may be very good at customer services and (as it is a very rare thing these days) people praise her on the phone. It makes her feel good and she feel she has to say it outloud. Try to put up with her, next time you get on the phone be really helpful and then maybe you too get praised. Then you can shout out the same statement but with different words.

That does sound annoying!! Geesh! Does her voice sound like a stars? Or is she such a hot saleswoman that she's just ringing her own bell?

Either way a few well timed replies of "NOT EvERyOne!"
ought to cool her down a degree or two. Laugh when you say it. Get a co-worker to chime in too.

They are annoying!
I had a member of staff like that that worked for me. She was always standing outside me door, telling people how wonderful the customers thought she was, what a wonderful job she does... when half the time it was the rest of my team that did the work, and kept the customers happy. Just smile and ignore it. I did with her.... and the rest of my team did.... she didnt make herself popular and in the end I got rid!

It's that age, my sweet. She'll wake up one morning and realize she's making a fool of herself. That's when your capacity for compassion needs to be ready. Now it's just your capacity for tolerance we gotta worry about. Won't hurt you to roll your eyes toward the ceiling when she gets like that; might give her the hint. Or give her an intentionally false smile. But I know such people can try your patience. She'll grow out of it.

Because she wasn't getting enough attention at a very pivotal moment in her life, or nobody taught her the secret of using "jokes" in moderation.

Well maybe she is just a really happy gal. Or she is a few brick short of a load. Why does this bother you....happy people are good people!

Why does that bother you? Is it her contentment? Look into yourself and try to decide why something that most people would find endearing makes you angry.

my answer to your question would be that she is either self absorbed or has a low self esteem and puts on that self absorbed attitude to make her look good. i know alot of people like that and they are best left to amuse thereselves i can assure you, but they are good icons to laugh at lol
