There have been Trotskyists in the USA for a very long time yet it does not appear to me that they can even get along with each other never mind lead a workers movement. In fact I think that most of them are not workers at all but come from the college campuses. I welcome any and all opinions and answers. What do you think?

You could ask the question, did Trotsky ever matter? His one achievement was the reorganization of the red army which may have saved the fledgling soviet republic, so in that he did. But his ideology, a variation of Marxism, was never really popular, not even in the USSR and especially in the USSR after the rise of Lenin. His philosophy was for his time and so I do not believe it, or in fact Trotsky himself, does have any relevance today.
