i would go to the doctors now just to be on the safe side. In saying that, when one of my cousins was pregnant she didnt begin to show until 28 weeks. Best thing is not to panic or put strress on yourself. Just pop down to the doctors for some professional advice! good luck x

It's normal, just talk to your doctor if your concerned. Every pregnancy and every person is different. With my first son I lost 5 lbs in the first 4 months then finally went up to 27 lbs by the end of the pregnancy. With my second, I actually weighed less at the delivery than I did when I got pregnant. I started out at 189 and ended at 185. But my son was growing just fine and was 7 lbs. Now I am 20 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I am still down by 5 lbs from when I started. My doctor hasn't been concerned at all. But talk to your doctor and go to your appointment. They see stuff like this all the time. They may just tell you to eat higher fat foods for awhile. Good luck.

It's ok. I didn't start to gain weight till after 31 weeks, infact what little weight I did gain I lost because there were two instances that I lost 4 pounds and the other time 6.

With my second pregnancy I lost about 15 pounds in my first 5 months and then finally started slowly gaining it. Not keeping your scheduled appointment with the doctor is not a very good idea. I'm sure if he sees a problem with the weight issues he will do further testing to make sure everything is ok.

Honestly, this doesn't sound good. I'd call your doctor right away. You should be gaining weight right now in your 2nd trimester, not losing it. First trimester weight loss is normal. Second is not. A friend wasn't gaining weight and found out the worst 2 weeks later. Please go.

You'll gain and loose at your own pace and rate. So long as the baby is growing thats all that matters.
Everyone is different.

Call the doctor's office, the staff should be able to recommend if you should come in now or if it is something that can wait.
