Love might be blind but lust certainly is not. I have had sex with some women I just met and I have loved others that I never even got to kiss. True story. The lingerie is definitely on the side of lust and for better or worse, lust is not necessarily married to love.

Love should be blind but physical attraction is definitely part of romantic love. I don't think it's realistic to think otherwise. It would be difficult to have an intimate relationship with someone you find repulsive. Unless their inner personality were so attractive you were able to overlook the physical.
