i would like it if someone could please give me a link where i could look up the ingredients for hyland's teething tablets. i have read that there is belladonna in them (which can be an extremely toxic herb) as well as tons of sugar and lactose.
i know that no manufaturer would survive if they were doing something incredibly wrong with thier product -- but i cant seem to get the information on it id like to have.
im not asking whether you had success with it or if you think its the devils drug-- i just would like to find a website that tells me some solid facts about what is in the stuff and how it works!
id like to know some active ingredients and maybe some drug history-- but nothing biased. just cold hard facts. thanks!

Look at a bottle of it. Or call a pharmacist. And, try not to be so RUDE.

Ingredients: Active Ingredients: Calcarea Phosphorica 3X HPUS (supports dentition), Chamomilla 3X HPUS (irritability), Coffea Cruda 3X HPUS (wakefulness & diuresis), Belladonna 3X HPUS, 0.0003% Alkaloids (redness & inflammation)

Great job looking into the ingredients first, I didn't even think about them having a lactose base until AFTER I gave them to my daughter who has a milk allergy.

the above posts are correct all the ingredients are toxic
in fact hylands only gets away with selling the pills because when tested they contain 100%lactose (they are just a sugar pill, they contain no medication whatsoever and will do nothing to help your child's teeth)

they will however cause problems for anyone that has lactose intolerance

The link provided shows belladonna as an ingredient but, it has for centuries been used for medicinal purposes.

But, if the product isn't FDA approved, don't use it.

Belladonna is derived from Nightshade...only toxic in MASSIVE doses, i used it for my kids to bring down a fever...look up 'homeopathic remedies' for references as to HOW these teething tablets work.

I would never feed my baby anything that I don't know what's in it.
