One government, and one language throughout the whole world. If you leave politics and pride aside, it just makes sense. If we are to all live on this planet together and coexist with each other. We need to create a new doctrine called the CO-EXISTENCE DOCTRINE. Government and leaders need to step and put some regulations in place that will help save us and save the planet. Comments?

It would make sense, but sadly, it just won't happen.

You aren't going to see one-world language. Attempts to create an international language have failed in the past, and I don't see any country who speaks English or Spanish deciding to stop and re-educate everyone in Chinese. English is the closest thing to an international language we have--mostly because Europeans teach it to school students. Apart from Europe, people mostly speak the language of the country they were born in--usually only people with international jobs get fluent in other languages.

As for whole-world government--it seems just as unlikely, but since it is predicted to come about close to the end of the world according to the Bible it will happen. I imagine there would have to be a global panic of some kind to unite the world under one leader.

Do you agree with the mistreatment of women that goes on in the mid east? I don't think the world as a whole could come to a middle ground on issues like this (religion plays a large part in disparities between cultures) and people will not tolerate living togather with someone they believe to be evil. Some cultures and religions are very close minded and believe they have a god given right to set the rules for all to follow.. That was proven in the Inqusistion by Christians and also many time over by Islamic terrorist.

The one thing that might make that happen is a worldwide crisis affecting everyone on the planet. Forced to work together, borders, languages, religions and ethnic differences "might" disappear during the effort to work toward a solution. But, right now, people are too wrapped up in their differences to realize what they have in common. The big problem with your question, though, is that it smacks of fascism, which is what the world's population has been fighting against every since WWII.

One government? What happens when that one government has disarmed it's people and then turns against them? Who will there be to speak up for them? At least German and Soviet dissidents had the hope of escaping to the west or have other governments pressure their government to treat them humanely. A worldwide government that turns authoritarian or totalitarian would be a colossal human disaster. What if that one world government decides to eradicate whites, Jews, or Mormons? Who will stop it if it declares a threat to the state? One world government will destroy the planet not save it. We should fight any movement in that direction with all our might.

This will never occur by evolution. We are still steeped in too much chauvinism. Tribal, racial, and national , let alone religious sentiments are just too strong. The only way to achieve what you suggest is through a catastrophic revolution brought about by massive war, famine, natural disaster or possible alien invasion.

Nice idea though!

I respect that. But I got a question for you, do you eat meat? If you do, then your goal is unrealistic, and if you don't, then your goal MIGHT stand a chance. You see, by eating meat people upset the animal population, who, like it or not, also have souls and also feel and have a consciousness. So, when you eat meat the animals lives are in havoc. How do you expect ours to be any better? We, well, "are what we eat"...

just something to "chew" on...

And you'd think if evolution really existed, we'd be a super race by now, or at the very least...that women would no longer grow hair on their legs or that men could put toilet seat down....
