Hi Bharath,

Request you not to trust any one in this world you might have been heard many stories daily in newspaper that husband killed his own wife for money, jewels when things is happening like this how could you trust and lend your own belongings to others.

Anyway now its happened so speak to him again , try to take legal action - but for legal action you need to have proof if you dont have proof with just take it as a lesson or experiance in life and remember not to commit the same mistake again if you want to lend someting do take some proof.

This person is not the friend your mom thinks he was. He took advantage of your mom's generosity and she should not consider him to be her friend. If your mom has proof of the jewelery he took from her then she can take him to small claims court and file a case against him to try and get her jewelery back. If not, then hope she learns to not be as trustworthy of people in the future. This is too bad, your mom sounds like she puts her trusts in peopld and tried to help this person who took advantage of her. So sorry she had to learn this lesson the hard way.

Try to recollect the situation or scenario when, where and how the jewels were given. Maybe you had some other person present when it was given, Seek their help and make the other person understand and collect the jewels.

Register your complaint with police, and let them investigate if it is true, otherwise what is gone is gone, Remember trust a person but never give money or valuables even to a trusted one, when you ask for return that person will be your enemy and will avoid you, so take a legal step under law, nothing more you can do

If nothing can be done, there is something to be learnt from this episode. As they rightly say, you learn from your mistakes. Next time before doing anything like this(God forbid),you should always have some proof. TRUST is a weapon with which you can help someone and fool someone too.

You should never loan money to friends or family or trusted people in desperate need of money.Always say you dont have it cause 9 times out of 10,you're never gonna see that money again.

You need to take legal action. You must have proof that the jewels involved belong to you and that you had given him without any consideration. Even if you have no documentary proof for having deposited the jewels, even if you have a witness to testify your contention, that is enough. Please take a legal action.

That's a good thing don't you think. If a man needs to take someones jewels to better his financial situation then he is not really a man.

he took the jewels to financially netter his life, of course he is going to lie about it, as he doesn't want to be accountable. the jewels are gone forever, your mom should not have put her trust in him, sometimes we trust people we shouldn't, and are sorry we did but can't cry over what is already done.
