I would like to work in Seismology, not nessessarily as a Seismologist (maybe but not definatly)... but maybe as an assistant or technician or something...where can I go to school, what can I get a degree in, how long is schooling, and how much do jobs in that field pay? I live in Washington State and I'm 20 years old, I don't mind out of state schools and I'm young, so I have plenty of time for school. :)

contact the california state seismologists office and ask your question to them. ask what the employees have their degrees in, etc. I bet they'd be really helpful.
