i doubt many people can say they are working in the job they really want or should be in. I envy anyone who truly believes they are. Right now the job I am in is pretty awesome, pay is good, pays the bills and then some, but in my own head I know that the job I want, belongs to the next person in the ladder, I need to be just that one spot higher, the extra pay, the company car, the private car park next to the boss. But then again if I had that job I'm pretty sure I would suddenly be under the impression that i was in the wrong job. The one I would want would of course be the BOSS'S. And even then, there's room to advance. At some point I would have to find myself OWNING a sizable company to compete with and demolish the one I work for now.

Wonder if I would be happy then............Doubt it, can always go higher and it's basic instinct to always want just that little bit more.

I've been at my current job for over 8 years. It's the only place i've ever worked since leaving school and it has lost some of Its interest to me. There are things I"m going to be doing in my lifetime that this job just cannot support so I made a decision to prepare a more sound financial footing to enable me to really follow my dreams. I will earn more money and will be able to do more of what I really want to do with my life which is have more time to spend with my son. (Currently I spend about 2 or 3 hours per day with him because of work)
I'm working towards freedom of time in my life to do WHAT I WANT WITH IT.
By the way, have a look at exactly HOW I'm achieving this at http://achiever.vitamark.com

I am doing a job that is perfect for me and I love it!
I am a part time receptionist for a scenic river town that is also local tourist destination. I not only am the face and voice of the "city", but am learning so much about local government and serving the municipality that I reside in. I feel so fortunate as I know not everyone loves what they do - but my personal challenge is getting along with a variety of personalities in a friendly, professional way!

Well I work for a national equipment finance company, meaning I sell money. I like to make money and this job enables me to do so however, I would MUCH rather be doing something like mountain rescue or something like that.

My job enables companies to acquire equipment vital for the success of their company. That part I like however, it does get boring.

Would rather be out doors helping people.
