Confusing some people say keep it others say remove.
What should I do, is it any value?

Remove it and install Windows Defender

For me adware is like junk mail, it gets trashed in the garbage. I didn't ask for it so I don't want it!
Adware is software that generates advertisements such as pop-up windows or hotlinks on Web pages that are not part of a page's code. Adware may add links to your favorites and your desktop. It will often change your home page and your search engine to sites that earn income from various advertisers. This income is dependent on, for example, how many people visit the adware site, or how many people click on the links or advertisements at the site. Spyware is software that collects and transmits user specific behavior and information, with or without permission. Sometimes, permission to collect and transmit is assumed to have been given simply by the act of installing software or loading a Web page. In reality, few people read EULAs (End User License Agreement) or Terms of Use/Service/Installation that are displayed during installation.
Like ads, data collection can be okay if done with consent or for a reasonable purpose. For example, software that transmits user specific information for the legitimate purpose of confirming eligibility for updates or upgrades should not be classed as spyware. Programmers are entitled to ensure that their software is not being pirated, and that the users of pirated software are not receiving the same benefits as legitimate users.
Malware is software that damages your system, causes instability, or exhibits antisocial behavior such as changing settings or interfering with a computer's registry and security settings. Typical examples include computer viruses or worms

Your question is should you keep or remove Ad-Aware. The answer is Keep it! If you use it like you should, it will keep your computer free of ads and spyware that come in every time you log onto the internet. As several answerers said, Ad-Aware = Good for your computer. Adware = bad for your computer. Eventually adware and spyware cause the computer to become so choked up it will barely run. It's your choice!

If you have ad-aware se no dont get rid of it the one that is put out by lavasoft is the best to have it works great and gets rid of all the tracking cookies and unwanted stuff that many sites put on your computer it will find alot of problems and i love avg by grisoft also it is a great anti virus download that is free like ad-aware se by lavasoft if you dont have that one you have the wrong ad-aware also some like spybot search and destroy it will get rid of alot of problems too and clean up your computer but with that one you have to be careful which mirror to choose i use the one at the very top to download spybot and i have no problems going on all these downloads are advanced and proven the best throughout the years even microsoft recommend it for people who are wanting free security stuff for thier computers . well i hope all this will help you decide which way to go alot of people also dont know what they are talking about when it comes to computers call a computer place and they will tell you everything i said is true well good luck over and out

Adaware is an Anti-Adware program.
AdAware= Good
AdWare= Bad
Don't remove it..!

Adaware is is of the best free spyware tools out there, use it with other antispyware and your're good to go.

AdWare is actually slowing down your computer so i suggest you take it off as soon as you can. Adware is really almost like a virus because it is so hard to get rid of unless you buy their software. so what i had to do was completely do a disk restore on my computer. good luck.

uh yea idf say so isnt ad aware some sorta anitvirus or either that it keeps u filtered from bad files etc.............
