was woundering the best way to store my sega megadrive which is in its box and in mint condition,would like to keep it that way for many years can anyone help

If you dont want to use it then that should do. but if your really fanatical about keeping the box mint, then get the whole box shrink wrapped or get one of thise stotage bags for cloths that you suck the air out of with a vac.

get some dessicant powder satchels to reduce moisture and add them to the box (many new products contain these) then re-seal it in shrink wrap. (many shops have the ability to shrink wrap their own stuff, ask around your local stores and see if you can get someone to help you out)

pack some silcone packs to absorb moisture and keep in dry place.
