i have had my washer for almost 6 yeasrs. now it is having a hard time aggitating. like the load is too heavy. but it still does it on the smallest load setting. it is also leaking water every where. it takes it longer to fill up with water because as soon as the water starts running in it, the water starts coming out of the bottom. is the tub cracked? do i need to just buy another one, or can this one be fixed?

My first suggestion is to make sure the load is balanced. I worked on washers and dryers for a long time & it sounds like
that one is about to quit. If it's leaking from the bottom I would
have all the connections looked at, could be just a loose water
hose from the drum.

sounds like it's on it's last leg. 6 years is not long enough to be having these type problems though. maybe a necklace or other item is stuck in the tub seal. you might have a service person take a look. do you use it all day long everyday?

you might want to pay a serv. tech to come out and give you a estimate of repair. as far as the water leaks i would guess its the water pump. the agitation is a little strange. the only thing i can think of is the motor is belt drive to the agitator instead of direct drive and the belt is stretched out. good luck.

I'd advise just go get a new one you'll save lots money on Tylenol because you wont be using it all on repairs of the old one and washers aren't terribly expensive.

I've had my washer for 10 years and fixed it myself when it stopped agitating. I used this site and bought a part and manual. It saved me from buying a new washer.

Call a repairman to come and check if its still serviceable if not its time to get a new one. Japanese brands usually last a longer time than others.

You might as well get a new one.
The cost of repairing the old one could add up to the cost of the new one.
If your going to have a new one delivered, they will take the old one with them when they leave.
Good luck.

sounds like its time to spend on a new one...when you do check the floor you intend to put it on...if the floor is not even balanced(( flat)) you will have problems again fast...I know..i bought new washer and dryer for a trailer i lived in...the washer acted up quickly..because of uneven floor
