The Apartheid Government of South Africa was one of the last totally racist governments left on earth. Although the minority by far, the white , European citizens ruled with total political and economic control over the Black majority. World pressure, and work by men like Catholic Bishop Desmond Tutu, along with international corporate economic sanctions finally led to capitulation of the Apartheid regime, in a relatively orderly manner, considering the abuses committed.

You had a majority(blacks) that was ruled by a minority (British whites).
