Oh please God tell me there still aren't people who believe 9-11 and Iraq are still tied together. I'm still, even to this day, hearing the link being made. Can you believe it?

Sure, the Vice President Cheney still makes that connection any chance he can, so it is no wonder others do the same.

No way people can still think of it..It's been proved many of times...they just made that assumption after people in Iraq rejoiced and celebrated when 9-11 happened. Even that was staged by Bath Party members. Or just showed people celebrating and said they were Iraqi.

Most of the violence in Iraq is being caused by the underlying sectarian conflict that Saddam held under control.
There were no terrorists in Iraq until we opened it up to them! Why do people still believe terrorists resided in Iraq before this? Saddam didn't like extremists in his country! They would take power away from him!

Iraq is in no way connected to 9/11, almost nobody thinks that anymore...

I've yet to meet anyone who thinks so.
I've long contended that just because Saddam may not have had a hand in it, doesn't mean he wouldn't have liked to. in other words, a terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist. Saddam would have been any other terrorist if he hadn't been in a position lo these many years ago to grab hold of Iraq and become a murdering dictating tyrant on top of that.
just because he may have been innocent of that one atrocity, he should get a pass? I don't think so. what about the many, many, many others?

There are still people that will swear up and down that Al-quida ran training camps in Iraq or Saddam Hussein was funding Al-Quida even though they are unable to produce a source.

Yes and they have all gathered here on yahoo answers! very few though and no one said they were saine, as even wubba said Iraq had no connection, although he implied this to con congress into apporving military action in Iraq
