~If you don't even know how to find a source to find information on men about whom so much has been written, give up on the presentation and go polish your toenails. You ain't gonna make it through school.

First of all Stalin was not one of the axis leaders. The Soviet Union fought on the side of the allies. Japan was the third major Axis power. You want information about Japan's Empero Hirohito and Japan's military leader Tojo. Tojo was generally the one considered responsible for Japan's military aggression.

Also, Spain was fascist and aided Germany and Italy. Spain's leader was General Franco. Spain was considered neutral by the USA and Great Britain but did send soldiers to help Hitler on the Russian front. My best advice to you would be to do internet searches of the names, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, and Hirohito and maybe throw in a little about Spain's involvement for extra credit.

These are the main Axis leaders,

Link 1 = Biography of Adolf Hitler

Link 2 = Biography of Benito Mussolini

Link 3 = Biography of Emperor Hirohito

Stalin's Russia was not part of the Axis Alliance, but link 4 gives his biography anyway in case you need it.

Japan - Prime Minister Hideki Tojo, not the emperor was the one behind Japanese aggression

Italy - Benito Mussolini

Germany - Adolf Hitler

Not sure about good read or sites for the first 2 but Alan Bullock's account of Hitler is a good book.

One of the better texts for what you need is 'The American Heritage Picture History of World War II' by C.L. Sulzberger
Edited by David G. McCullough, one of America's finest historians, and with very readable text, is great for background on every leader, both political and military.
It can be found at most libraries, and the Library of Congress catalog card number is 66-24214...your local librarian should be able to help you get this with no problems. Good luck
