I think that this is the stupidest question i have read on yahoo. Well friend is friend and they can one day be foul, but parents are parents and they will stay to be our parents for as long as they are alive and they will always care and love you till the end. As for a friend, at times they will just forget you, so keep in mind that parents are the second important after GOD himself. Okay.

Are you serious? if u have to ask that question it must be a Serious problem in your world.

If your parents raised u (because some people r given to foster homes & grow up w/out their parents...I understand if u mean situations like that) But, if your parents raised, supported u (financial or mental) & stuck by you throughout your life; If they did any one of those things- you better not hesistate for a moment- of course your parents.

But, if your situation is a little different and you have a really good friend. who treated u w/that type of kindness I described earlier. Ok, u go w/the friend.

Parents rank higher than friends. Have you ever heard someone say "he/she lives in the moment". That is part of what that saying means that sometimes people don't realize that friends depart while growing thru life and that's normal.

Someone posted "blood is thicker than water". Parents are the roots from which you came..don't ever let anyone severe your roots or try to manipulate you into thinking you have no roots. Unless you don't mind going thru an identity crisis.

I also value FRIENDSHIP but these two relationships are incomparable. Dont show this question to your parents. This question will hurt their feelings.
