At the moment they appear to be chumps rather than champs. All of that can change when
a. They receive a high draft pick and manage his talent well.
b. Management abstains from trading franchise players such as Thornton.
c. Perhaps management needs changing
d. In a matter of only a few years all can change. (Look at the Edmonton Oilers. They won the cup after only 5 years in the league)
e. Yes the Bruins can win another cup.

How old are you?

If you're 80---sorry ol' timer. Look back with fondness to the days of Orr and Espo.

If you're young (and I'm assumin' you are) then anything is possible. Look at the Pens--awful for a while, drafted VERY well and now they are a force.

My Sabs have cultivated some talent and are looking good. You have to have fresh eyes, you need only look at Philly to see what an old time school of thought can do.

I like the Bruins and wish them well. Live a long time and maybe you'll see the Cup in Boston again.

The Bruins haven't won a Stanley Cup since 1972. That's 35 years ago. Guess you will have to wait another 35 years at the rate they are playing.
They need a revamping of their team. They need a good coach.
They need some luck!

it depends....how old are you? If ur in ur 20's, 30's, or maybe even 50's i think u might get to see one...however, if ur like 60 or 70 (also depending on ur health) sorry, but not in ur life time. but u must have seen one....the last time they won was in 1972 i think. I want to see it..i wasn't born yet! Well....I think they have potential but they have no consistency....i mean they win they suck the next few days...i mean dont get me wrong i love the bruins....i'm from boston how can u not love them....i watched every single game last season...even though they lost a lot but i still had faith in them....look at it this way they are better than last year. so ya i think they will win in ur life time...but i think they have to make it to the play offs first...baby steps

i think of the sharks. After 2 years in a row dropping interior the convention finals, they are going to be desperate to circulate each and each of ways this year. And having Brent Burns now makes their protection plenty better.

Not in your lifetime, or mine!
The owner is not committed to getting or keeping great players.
They are in a rough spot in beantown.

Not likely.

Unless they get a new owner that actually wants to win!
