Would one of your friends be willing to help out? If not, than maybe you could hire a nanny just for a few days.

Hiya, i am also pregnant with my 3rd child and have similar problems. Here in Scotland you can get released from hospital the same day as having your baby if you have already had 1 and everything goes alright. I hope you can do this where you are but just make sure your man helps out as much as he can to let you have a rest! Ask your midwife if you will be able to do this or try checking online. I wish you the very best of luck!!!

I think you should ask your parents to stay with you ,idont think they would like you not asking them to help, could your mum be at the birth while hubby looks after the other kids, would a neighbour help, you will need other people even if you have a homebirth incase of complications stop stressing about it you will work something out ,good luck with your baby i am sooo envious, take care, what about your husbands family cant they help???

you could do what that 1 person said & go to the child ppl services but here in the states if u do they are so FOREVER in your life. so if you absolutely do not have anyone to look after them let them be with you & new baby. my granddaughter of 5 & one of 3 were there when their brother was born. (of course they werent RIGHT there looking at the actual place the baby comes from!)& it didnt bother them & they are really close to him now. if there is no one there just is no one to help & sometimes we all have to make do.i hate having to make do sometimes!but be that be as it may thats the way it is sometimes. i wish u the best of luck& hope & pray your family is okay. congradulations & good luck.

Firstly, don't have a home birth. There is a very small chance that things could go wrong and wouldn't you rather be in a hospital just in case?

Secondly, how old are your boyfriend's parents? My In-laws are pushing 80 and regularly look after my little ones.

Do you have any friends or relatives close by who could help? I'm sure your mates would be happy to look after the kids for a couple of days, or you could leave the kids with the boyfriend and have one of your girlfriends go to the hospital with you.

Take them with you.If you think their to young then the hospital should have some sort of creche facility's you could also speak to a health visitor they can help you find child care in these situations

Speak to social services. They'll arrange temporary foster care for your children while you're in labour.
