Yes, I have because it was required. I thought it was a bunch of hooey. The careers were great choices if I was younger and more driven to leave my son alone, but nothing took into consideration a person's current status and situtation. You can find out almost anything you want through online career exploration.

I teach a career planning course. Feedback from my students have indicated that my course has been extremely helpful.

Do not go into this course thinking it will cure all your "what do I want to be when I grow up?" ills. You may start down many paths (even finish some) before you really get a grip on a satisfying career.

What I do tell my students is that this course is designed to help you generate some career possibilities, teach you how to research those careers, and build some good, basic decision making skills!!

I have my students read an article called "Inspiration Junkies", you might like it also as you begin to plan your future!
