Do you know of any other engine that will fit into a peugeot speedfight?

I have a peugeot speedfight 1 50cc moped, the engine as blown and wondered if any othe scooter engine would fit, it as drum brakes and is liquid cooled.

Only the Speedfight 50 is liquid cooled but you could fit an air cooled engine.The Trekker or Vivacity engine will fit straight in.If your Speedfight has the immobiliser fitted you may need to change the flywheel and stator but otherwise it is a straight swap.Why not really go for it and fit a 100 engine,again Speedfight,Trekker and Vivacity will slot straight in but you will need to change the CDI.By the way,an Aerox engine will never fit unless you are prepared to cut and reweld the frame as the piston & barrell are pointing forward unlike your Speedfight which points straight up.

I think the Peugeot uses it's own engine. I would look on Ebay for another engine. They are listed there from wrecked scooters. I got a good engine for a Yamaha 50cc scooter and saw some speedfight engines also.

The time and effort to locate an engine, plus the cost of buying, shipping and installing another engine, will cost more in the long run. Why don't you just spend the money and repair your engine. At least you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that engine is new. With another engine, you have no guarantee as to the condition and how long it will last.
