To the point of guilt..... you don't have to tell me your secrets if you don't want, but if you have that many things you feel guilty about what do you do?

I'm ashamed of misleading "girls" when I was young (sexual involvement) . . . knowing I felt one way, leading them to believe or letting them believe another way.
I'm ashamed of wanting to run from the 'fight' when I turned 18 and we had the draft (military) . . . lucky me they dropped the draft and I never 'had' to run - but I am ashamed of being a coward.
I'm ashamed of the attitude I took with a 'young love' - it was a very self serving, selfish and ultimately self defeating (she got tired of my crap) . . . I lost someone I did not want to loose.
I'm over 50 yrs old today and look back with a loving heart towards my mistakes . . . I do not whip myself over them . . . what would be the point . . . but I want to look squarely into the truth of these things and become a better man.
It is too bad that we (as a culture) are trying to eliminate quilt or shame . . . these are good things (that can be overdone - but then they are something else, at that point). They help us become 'better humans' one to another and bring us closer to seeing God, seeing that God is interested in helping us, and wanting to be involved in our daily lives.
This move to wards Pantheism is not a good move.

I'm ashamed that I haven't been able to chronicle my life in certain forms other than poetry. I wish I would have done so in pictures or in movies.

if I have to go to the emergency room or a doctor other than my own or if someone asks how many times have I been pregnant I have to tell them 7 times it's a little embaressing.
