Every three months. And whatever you do do not repeatedly thrust the wand into the tube. It causes air to come in contact with the mascara and causes clumping. Swirl it gently after every insertion before you apply it to your eyelashes. Wash the wand once a week.

For hygenic applications, replace mascara each and every 3-4 mos. One the bottle is open that's uncovered to air which dries it out and as quickly because it touches your lashes it has micro organism which grows contained in the tube. even if you do not use it on a daily basis it is going to likely be thrown out after no better than 4 mos. Eyeliner and mascara are both cosmetics that favor to get replaced often, or you would possibly want to get eye infections. not in any respect let everybody else borrow your mascara. Throw it away if it receives flaky, the feel transformations, or it smells funky earlier 3 mos. not in any respect "pump" the mascara wand (it pushes air into the bottle) and be particular to close TIGHTLY. different makeup can flow longer. maximum beverages or lotions (shadow, blush, starting up, etc) can flow 6-18 mos. Powders can flow 2-3 years.

I would change it when it starts to look "flaky" or dry. Usually 3-6 months. Just don't share with anyone else, as you can get an infection. Also, don't leave the tube open for extended periods of time. The more exposure to air, the greater chance of contamination.

Definitely after six months, but should check the odor and consistency of the mascara. If you live in hot climate, you should change it more often.

about every three months...or else it gets old. also dont "pump" the tube because that can allow bacteria to get it and it can also dry it up.

It doesn't really matter when you change it. If your mascara does not irritate your eyes you're safe.
