Will they not live above a certain floor? I am on the second floor and am getting killed! If you live higher up, will they not make the journey up? What about the 5th floor, still roaches?

ROACHES LIVE IN THE MOST EXTREME MEASURES AND CONDITIONS. NO FLOOR IS GOING TO BE HIGH ENOUGH.
SOME ADVICE I RECEIVED THAT IS NATURAL.
Sister,the ONLY thing that will get rid of them is boric acid stuff.It is a white powder that you put in the corners and edges of cabinets,etc.Roach motels don't do anything as it only kills what goes into it.The powder they take back on their feet,etc into the nests.I know,I used to live in an apartment with roaches when I was 1st married.

well we got invaded the same way and my grandmother told us to get ant power , it is made by "ortho" fire ant killer it is a power in a bown container , just get a turkey baster and just put it every where you can as long as you see the roaches there it will kill them and even stop them from laying eggs , we had them bad and it took a couple of weeks and now they are gone it is a lot cheaper then calling someone out to kill them , hope this helps

I live in Texas and here there are Big Roaches and then there
are small what they call German Roaches. Usually the little ones
are in Apt or condos that share walls. Here in Texas it doesn't
matter how clean your apt is they find their way. I heard that
a Roach can live off the sticky stuff on the back of stamp for weeks.
LOL The big ones live outside and only find their way in when its
to dry and they are looking for water of some type.
When we were in an APT we also had problems with the little roaches
cause when they would spray one APT all they would do is move through
the walls to the next one. I bought these roach motels and the maker
was Combat it did the job. I bought a lot of them and put them
everywhere through out the APT and coverd the kitchen
corners,cupboards under the refridge and stove.

Building height makes no difference to roaches. They will go anywhere they can find sufficient food. I'd suggest calling an exterminator, or at the very least put down some Combat.

Roaches are all over the world, and they are not limited to some many feet high.
It sounds like there is a serious problem in your building, bring it to the attention of your supervisor. If he does not do anything about the problem, call the health department and they will come out to investigate the source. If you are the owner call an exterminator company to resolve the problem in the building.

Roaches travel as far as they can reproduce. They spread throughout apartments, houses, etc. Tell your superintendant, and if they will not spray, call the health department.

roaches will still climb up as high as the building will let them, they're nasty and annoying

they can survuve a nuclear explosion i think they can climb a building! haha no but seriously they climb walls and thing like that so you cant ever move to high up for them!
