It's been awhile since I heard this but if I remember right gold is measured with a different measurement. Actually a pound of gold is a little less than a pound so the feathers weigh more

Gold will weigh more metals like gold and silver are calculated in Troy ounces which is heavier that a standard ounce.
1 oz=1.097 Troy oz
1 pound Feathers = 16oz 1 pound Gold = 17.55 oz

it's the same in weight but. it's different on the mass, b'coz there is a different in the molecule structure of the gold and the feather. the atom in the gold has a stronger bonding than in the feather

Fathers or feathers? Cuz if it's feathers, then the answer is: it doesn't matter if it's in an air vacuum; they'd both weight the same due to lack of air resistance.
