Sometimes Monistat can't always cure a yeast infection like a magic eraser. I found this to be especially true with the one day dose, since some fungal infections need to be exposed to medications longer.

I'd suggest seeing your doctor or gynecologist. If you had unprotected sex, you may need a full workup for STD's. If it's still the same yeast infection, you can request Diflucan. It's a small, one dose pill you can take that will cure the infection in 24 hours.

The best solution is to go to a doctor so that they can determine if you have a yeast infection. If so they have different perscription medicines that can help you. Sometimes over the counter medicines do not always work.

Another answer might be an STD/STI. http://www.plannedparenthood.org/sexual-health/stis-stds-101.htm

Most likely it's a yeast infection. Good Luck.

read the label on the box i think it takes like 7 days to fully work and depends on where the itch is ? on the external or internal external would not be a yeast infection, internal might be a yeast or something else. try those monastat wipes or creams for now until you get it figured out.

If you are still having sex with your partner, it might be because of friction down there. Or maybe YOUR partner, not you has passed an STD to you. See a doc ASAP if you think that is the case. So stop having intercourse for a couple days and see if the itch leaves..if not, go see a doc. Good luck.

Some yeast infections need more treatment. I would see your gyno, they have one pill you can take and it will go away. Sometimes you can just call and they will call it into your pharmacy. Do you shave down there? maybe your having iritatiion that can cause itching too. best of luck

Yeast infection see a dr or try eating some yogurt the bacteria in yogurt will help to return your vagina back to its normal pH. If you had intercourse recently and he used a condom you may be allergic to latex. In some cases you could be allergic to his semen.
