It is an area bounded by a triangle drawn from Bermuda to Puerto Rico to Florida in which strange disappearances are said to take place. In fact, there is nothing special about it and there are not an unusual number of strange disappearances in that area. Thousands of planes and ships pass through that area safely every year.
