it seems to me that during interviews, people need to sell themselves in order to be accepted. I was just wondering if humbleness works in an interview... thanX for reading...;)

Most see humility as a weakness - I see it as a strength.
Before the interview, take stock of what your approach to the job would be and what strengths you would bring to it. Be positive, articulate your skills and what you know in a non-bragging way and be genuine - that will shine through!

Good luck in your job search !

I've spent a mass of time reading the world's greats and I *now* find it easy to get on with all kinds of folks. I'd say use 5% humbleness, 50% charm/good manners [which is kind of humbleness], 35% know your product/job/future-company etc and 10% plain flair.

yes you can be humble, humble in the sense that you are not showing them either over confidence or false humility....however, your answers should be striking in such a way that you will show yourself reasonably confident for the position you are applying for and that the company will be able to see that you will definitely be an asset to them
