Yes, many!! When I was a kid we lived in a house on a street that was very prone to accidents, and everyone always seemed to land in our place asking if they could use the phone to call the police and the ambulance. Once saw a guy walk out of the car with one of his arms severed... I will never forget those screams...

I've seen a bunch of accidents, but two were really bad. One was driving on I95 in Florida when a driver lost control at high speed and started swerving all over 4 lanes of traffic. He nailed a car and both went into the wall in the median. All passangers were ok, but shaken up. The second one, I was driving north on I95 and in the southbound lanes a car lost control went up the sloped 'wall' under an overpass and flew off the other end. When the car landed it flipped 4 times before comming to rest upside down. The driver had fallen asleep in the car and was not in good shape, but was alive. Crazy stuff.

Yes, I did trice...and it's funny, when you witness one it is so surreal. The one I saw was at an intersection, rainy day. this kid in a muscle car decided to peel out...only he lost control of the car, and spun around in a circle and smacked into onccoming traffic. I was in shock over what the heck took place.

One other time, I was on the freeway, when I say this blazer rolling along the road. I pulled over and no one was in it....a few others who did pull over were trying to find bodies...none. Turns out this guy was towing the blazer, when the rim of the trailer broke, slide under the wheel fishtailing the trailer, and then throwing the blazer off...literally rolling the blazer all over the road. Again surreal seeing a rolling blazer coming straight towards you.

one time i was driving home for a little R&R and I was soooo tired and close to falling asleep at the wheel. I came upon an accident where the car was just totaled and the windshield on the driver side was just missing and there was glass everywhere. Then I saw a body on the street. They were putting a body bag over it. It woke me up in more ways than one..

I've seen 4. A fire truck with it's alarm going off hit a dumb person who drove right in front of it. It looked worse then what it was. A pick-up truck hit the breaks in the rain and skidded into a car, very minor. In rush hour traffic a woman misjudged the distance of the car in front of her and hit the breaks late and hit the car in the back. A woman went ran into the back of a car that was in a turn only lane as she was trying to drive forward, also very minor.

Yes I have seen a bunch - and unfortunately one was fatal. A 18 year old boy called killed and it was a horrifc site - something i pray I will NEVER have to see again. I have my CPR/First Aid training and stopped as I was the first witness.... when I checked this young man - he had no heart beat and I do remember seeing blood everywhere and his face was not really recognizable (sorry for these details). I had blocked that memory out for a long time and the police dept. recommended counselling for me... A GOOD idea.... Anyways thankfull I have only seen minor fender benders lately and pray that I never have to see a fatal one again.....

Great question btw.... :)

Yes I have. I witnessed a very bad accident in Massachusetts involving a state trooper, a sedan with 2 adults & 2 children, an old Rambler with an elderly couple, and a pickup truck with a single male driver. Luckily, no one died.

I was going down a busy road, someone was turning left and the car behind them ( in front of me) didn't see that they were turning and rear ended the truck going about 60mph. It was pretty scary.
