Sometimes I do this to soothe myself a little bit. Smiling makes the effects of anger less dangerous because when u r angry u don't know what u might do wrong so smiling reduces this.Another thing that makes me smile while I'm angry is when other people try to make me feel better. However I don't smile always when I'm angry;it depends on the situation..

Sometimes I do, but everyone can tell I am being cynical. Makes a good substitute when what you really want to do is wring someone's neck!!

No, I don't get angry, I just get sad and then it is very hard for me to smile, and I am more likely to start crying instead of smiling.

sometimes if someone is trying to get me to laugh to diffuse the situation, I try to ignore them, but I wind up laughing. It brings everything into prospective, laughter is a great cure all.

only to let someone know I'm offended or I don't agree with them in a VERY nice way without cursing...It's usually a really, really "plastic" smile. 99.5% of the time, people feel my wrath.

"If you're happy do you show it" - I always smile - however, when I am ticked off or really sad, it will probably not be as sincere or genuine.

But when I smile when I ticked off at my husband I probably give him a Grinch smile and he knows he is up sh!t creek without a paddle lol

:) <--------- genuine smile!!!
