if its just a self esteem issue alaone and not complicated by anxiety/depression etc take a look at the bach flower remedies or Bush flower remedies. Each flower essence has a corresponding negative and positive emotion...so find the one that fits your state of mind - they come in dropper bottle...you can add a few drops to drinking water and sip through the day or just add straight under your tongue when u need a confidence boost :) good luck

The expression "to take" is not familiar to me (English is not my native language). Do you mean "to take alcohol"?

If so, a small amount is recommended. It is a pity, however, that many people cannot restrict this kind of "boosting" on such a level that they still have some sense in their self confidence. Overwhelming "self confidence" can be a catastrophe for the person when she/he wakes up in the morning and remembers...

The skill to restrict "boosting" on an acceptable level needs skills and training, I guess. The more self control a person has, the better chances she/he has to have a real good self confidence.

Yes there is. Take a deep breath, look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that a/ you are unique b/ you are on this Earth for a purpose c/ you can notch up your aspirations of Life to match anything that other mortals have achieved.

Try this everyday, and you will soon be oozing confidence and looking back and wondering why you ever doubted yourself.
Good Luck!

Not sure about self confidence, but Wild Oat flower essence is supposed to give you more determination. I'm sure if you asked in the health food shop they'd have a flower remedy that would help (can be quite pricey though)

To me, the best confidence booster is to get the body into top physical condition, fit and strong and healthy. I think when your body is strong, your confidence will improve. Exercise and eat healthy! Feel yourself gaining in strength, flexibility, stamina and control every week. It is a great confidence boost!
Best wishes to you!

Try 'Paul McKenna's Positivity' CD set. He has a section for self-confidence, which I have found to be very helpful.

You can probably find it by doing a search on the 'net.

one of the best proven remedies of low esteem is excercise! Avoid cafeine, nicotine, drugs and alcohol as they seem to have a nagative effect on mood.Tell yourself you are a valuable member in society. Recognise your good points and mentally reward yourself for them, however small they may be. Smile, a realy big teeth bearing smile, even though you may not feel like smiling, force a smile as this trecks the brain into producing feel good hormones. All the Best!

No. Self confidence comes from experience. You try something new, you succees in learning. Now you have confidence. Nothing put in your mouth will do that.
