I am in Kenya: I like the landscape, the peace and tranquility in some places, the weather/climate, the natural resources and the people. I dislike the level of corruption, the insincerity of the government leaders, the environmental degradation with impunity, the ethnic tension in some parts and the economic woes.

United States:

I like:
1. That we can voice our likes and dislikes, no matter how vicious (esp. about the government and the president), without fear of being persecuted for them.

2. The interstate system. We drive everywhere. I'd shoot myself if I had to drive on two lane roads cross country.

3 THat no matter who much we ***** about them, compared to many European countries, our taxes are pretty low. Some countries take fifty percent of when their citizens make.

4. Capitalism is good.

5. Our government, flawed as it is, is still set up to be the most effective voice of the people.

Dislikes:

1. The goverment beurocracy and its workers have no incentive to do a better job. They don't give a hoot if you have to wait an hour at the DMV and they don't feel they have to be nice to you. There's no competition there for them to do any better.

2. THey give driver's licenses to any retard.

3. University tuition is outrageuously expensive.

4. The media doesn't tell us entirely what is going on...it is pretty biased and sensationalized. It is hard know know what is "Really" going on.

5. I live in the North. I hate cold weather.
