It could just be your hormonal level. Birth control pills basically are hormones that trick the body into thinking it's pregnant already. (jist of it anyway) So, if you miss too many, or take the placebo's at the end, the natural hormones bring on your period. If you were nearing the end of a pack anyway, your body may just be thinking it's about ready for a period. Sometimes breasts get sore pre-menstrual as well.
If you're not at the end of your pack, simply take 2 pills today and you should be fine. Just don't make a habit out of that. =)
But, if you're really worried about pregnancy you'll have to wait about a month before any test will show it, considering it was just last night after all.

I had the same feeling b4 I knew I was pregnant. My boobs were very sore especially when i went to sleep at night or took my bra off.
Take the home test... who knows u might be :)
