I don't think that your bone size matters but you should have healthy bones by getting calcium in your diet. But if you have just started working out you shouldn't use very heavy or big weights because the can cause stress on your bones. when you get more muscle then your bones will have more support.

When they did the big show with those people who lost lots of weight recently (The Great American Challenge or something like that), at the beginning there was a man who was around 5'8" and weighed around 400 pounds. One of his statements was that he had "big bones" and that's why he was so overweight. To show him that the idea that bones are "big" or "small", they x-rayed him and his trainer, and then showed him both x-rays. The size of the bones in both of their bodies was virtually identical. The idea that someone has either "small" or "big" bones is a myth that is not borne out by scientific examination. Regardless of the size of the bones someone has, with sufficient exercise (cardio and weight training), anyone will become buff.

You can enlarge your muscles a bit, but mostly you will be ripped. Personally I think ripped is sexier than big, bulky muscles.
