Been playing a long time, tried a guitar out with them about 10 years ago. Did not try them out in clean channel mode, however I want to know how they sound in clean mode. I'm a PAF and HS-3 fan. Liked the sound in drive mode.

I've been playing & touring for 35 years & personally I think Di Marzio is overrated (not clean + very noisy)tell you the truth...forget the names & go with what you hear,as for clean mode, some seymore dunkin pick ups can be scary clean with an huuummppff to it.
I play with a reissue 58 Strat & I do SRV style Blues right up to clean compressed Country & Strats do it all.
