your future is the power you hold. the reason being is that you're still up and coming. the world has yet to fully test you. and its the potential of succeeding combined with a history of not failing yet. thats the power of youth. you can be anything. the downside is that you also have the potential to chose a wrong path, but since it hasn't been chosen yet, you still have the power.

Without teenagers I wouldn't be a mum with teenagers nor would I enjoying or work in the high school i do. I love working with teenagers, they keep me up to date and energised, sometimes I don't really want to know some of the things they are talking about,, it's just too scary and upfront and personal but YOU seem so more mature, but then also very self centred and selfish. I think teenagers are a reflection of my generation. We were the first latchkey kids, we were the first lot of the survivors of today's world with not having a mum and a dad around as they were both working. As a kid I was the uncommon one, when my parents divorced and I lives with my father. shocking so shocking 20 yrs ago. Now it's nothing. Teenagers today have the power to change for the better if only they would take the opportunities of their ever changing world and decide to make it a better place. But it seems that many teenagers have not been taught right from wrong and nor care and perhaps it's not their fault as they are just surviving a worse scenario that I ever did. that is sad, yet there are so many Teenagers keep the world going into a better generation learning from past mistakes... and as with every new invention YOU are truly blessed to have the the first chance to use it, which keeps more technological than your parents or any older generation and the power to teach them how to use this new technology. When my nana was a kid a flushing toilet was technology, a computer disc (old floppy) to play a game was technology for me, and now we have such cool gadets that the kids I work with teach me how to listen to music on the thing Ipod the size of a coffee coaster. Me personally, I have learnt and continue to learn more by supporting teenagers and am a far more confident person because I have had to growth in strength and character to support your ignorant and over confident attitude YOU have today. It's not a totally bad thing, as you will need it to survive, and you will help me survive too. I thank YOU for that. I say YOU as in general for teenagers including my sons - not picking on you personally. That is my I feeling that you have the power. The most fantastic kids I work with manly boys, are more powerful and confident by the end of the year as they have listened to me or another adult in their life and they have grown to be less ignorant but full of confident and hope to get the higher education and jobs for a promising future.. That is power. To know you will succeed. How cool. All I had was fear, fear that I wouldn't pass and my father would see me as a stupid girl opregnant and on the streets with no education.. and tell me that I couldn't finish school but I had to get a job and fine a man to marry and have babies... where I really wanted to have a career and have babies, a cool house a fancy red car.. that was my dream... I am older and wiser and worked so damn hard to get your power that I have the house, the car and the kids with a fab job. YOU can have it all too. You really have the power as you have a lot more choices than I ever had... As nothing is seen as the norm any more. Good luck most sincerely to you and YOU other teenagers out there. Including my kids and the ones I work with. :-)
I hope that's not a crap answer... and has a little logic just for you. :-)

First of all, you arent gonna be ANYTHING until you get some grasp of English language use. Your question is barely understandable. To answer your question, though, adults care much more about survival, getting ahead and retirement to worry about culture. Teens are usually supported financially, and therefore have a LOT of time to focus on culture, what is popular and what is not. Therefore, teens and early twenty-somethings have a lot of power in that area. Just remember though, someone else (probably someone older) is reaping a HUGE profit from the culture you are popularizing. You may SET the culture but only very few teens will ever see profits from it.

And so unintelligent. Look at the question you tried to construct. It is must a total jumble of words on the screen without any thought or substance. Why are teens so not into education?
Do you not realize that big business is controlling you and making you buy all their useless and unnecessary products? The old business men are making multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses off your stupid buying habits. Keep thinking you're powerful while Big Business laughs all the way to the bank at your expense, HA, ha, ha!

You are not powerful. Advertisers are using you to make money and they themselves become powerful. You are at the age to convince your parents to buy, but not mature enough to see whether those products are really necessary for your physical, intellectual and spiritual progress. When you grow a little more, you will regret for the waste you are making now.

because when a teenager wants something they tell their parents who have the money to buy it for them. Companies that make products aimed at your age group know this. They know if they put a product out there enough the teens parents will buy it for them.

What makes teens powerful is numbers.
While I do not claim we outnumber everyone, we have a lot of options for us to use, and that gives us a random power. However, it is terribly weak when it comes to one person. That is unfortunate.

I'm a teen too, 14. I think it's because we pretty much rule pop culture. some adults follow our example for trends. Monkeys see, monkeys do.
