There are many books and information on horoscopes. Very often, these books will tell you how a person who belongs to that particular horoscope behaves, how he/she thinks, things related to their love life, career, finance, etc... Since everyone is unique in this world, to what extent is this true?

I think it's true, and I'm one of those people who can actually be honest with themselves. I'm a Leo. Born on August 2nd. If you have one of those books that pinpoints the date and time of birth (10:27 PM) you will literally find a description of me.

For the most part it is very true I believe. I have looked upon my horoscopic personalities as I am a Libra and most of what it says is actually very true. However, we also have moon signs and other astrological predictions that actually tell us what kind of individual we are. Think of how strange it would be if two people were born at the exact same time, it just would not be believeable now would it? There are horoscopes out there that can tell you your life path and the exact person that you may be if you know the exact time of your birth. These personality profiles as they call them do not, however, come free of charge. I have a Libran sun sign and an Aquarius moon sign. I have not purchased any personality profiles as I am not overly obsessive with horoscopes but if you are interested in finding out more about your possible self, some of these profiles cost as little as $9.95. Each and every one of them is going to be somewhat different I'm sure but it could be well worth the price if you are truly interested in the astrological connection of one's personality.

There exists some similarities within the same signs, however these similarities are not always the same. Example: take three Geminis, two of them can be very chatty, when the third one is quiet. The third may love reading and writing like the first one, but the second one dislikes books all together. There are other things to consider, like the cross sign( depending on the hour and place of birth), your Chinese sign, your houses, e.t.c. Also the parents signs are a big indicator of how a sign may ’’swing’’. These are all just generalities. The most important thing is to UNDERSTAND that you can never know anyone fully no matter how much you study them. Human beings are complex creatures that are in constant change. GOOD DAY.

You have to realise first that Astrology is not purely based on the sun sign, you are unique even in astrology.
there are 10 planets, and countless numbers of other Astrological Points. Which can be in a Sign, aswell as in a house. and Make Aspects (Angles) with each other and the Cusps of certain houses. while true there is a super small possibility of someone having the exact same chart (they would have to be born almost exactly in the same place and time as you), it is pretty rare.
books based on only the sun sign are just getting the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Astrology.

I cant comment on whether all that is true or not........i can only say for myself that i dont believe in all these horoscopes, personality traits, etc., etc. kinda things........simply bcoz if it had to be true it wud mean that there r only 12 kinds of people out there in the whole wide world which seems to far fetched to be real. So, my advice is live each day as it comes, be true to urself and every thing will fall in place automatically. Chao.

Well stated. Libras are supposed to be more "balanced" than others just because they are born in a certain 30 day period.
The weird thing now are certain comets and asteroids have "powers" now and infuence you. Bad enough that planets of rock or gas rule my life but when dirty snowballs are involved... let's say doubt is entering my open mind.

The Zodiac doesn't give just one single trait to each Zodiac sign. That would not be practical - just like each person has more than one personality trait, each Zodiac sign has more than one trait associated with it.
Therefore, those who believe that there would only be 12 personality traits if the Zodiac were true, should try to understand that each sign has multiple traits to it, just like each person has multiple traits to them.

not exactly true but true in nature of they were in good enviroment from start. interactions makes the soul change course but not completely just maybe become more extreme to protect oneself etc. like elements anything changes due to influences.
